Overview

Má Đào Vietnamese Spring Rolls is a bright, cozy spot perched on the 3rd floor of SM Makati, offering a fresh and genuine taste of Vietnam right in the heart of Metro Manila. This Vietnamese eatery focuses on delivering quality spring rolls and banh mi sandwiches, catering especially well to those seeking quick yet satisfying meals within a bustling mall environment.

Their Beef and Shrimp Spring Rolls are standout items, celebrated for their fresh ingredients and vibrant, balanced flavors. Each roll comes with a carefully paired dipping sauce that enhances the natural taste of the filling. Diners appreciate the variety of protein options available, including pork and beef alternatives, making Má Đào a great choice for those with specific dietary preferences or allergies, such as shrimp sensitivities.

The Pork Bahn Mi is another crowd favorite—robust, generously filled, and packed with traditional Vietnamese flavors wrapped in a crisp baguette. Customers often mention the impressive size and authentic taste, conveying a sense of true Vietnamese comfort food amidst Manila’s diverse culinary scene. Pairing the meal with their Vietnamese iced coffee rounds out the experience, offering a sweet, invigorating boost appreciated by regulars.

While the restaurant’s seating is limited—best suited for quick bites rather than lingering meals—the efficient service and reasonable pricing make it a convenient stop for both mall visitors and locals craving freshly prepared Vietnamese cuisine. The ambiance leans toward functional yet welcoming, catering largely to busy shoppers, office workers, and those seeking casual dining with an authentic twist.

Má Đào Vietnamese Spring Rolls succeeds in delivering flavorful, health-conscious dishes with an approachable menu and a strong emphasis on freshness. Whether you’re after a light snack or a fulfilling meal on the go, this spot is worth exploring for its reliable quality and taste. Just be sure to check your order carefully to ensure you get all the sauces, as some customers have noted occasional oversights.

Different spring rolls and mini banh mi for P70 each, minimum of 2. Pricing is very good. I enjoy eating here. There are drinks as well. They seem to be located in malls. Seating is limited but I always find a chair so no problem. Service is efficient

Bought this on the way home and enjoyed it! Their bahn mi was huge and we shared it together. Their rolls are great and you get one dip flavor per roll! Just make sure to list it in full because sometimes the staff don't give the correct amount of sauces if you don't double check. Felt very healthy eating this tbh

Vietnamese iced coffee is 5 stars for me Food tastes ok too. Prices are reasonable. Limited seats/table for dine-in. This place is ok for quick stop for snack/drink but definitely not for catching-up with friends.

This small Vietnamese spot just opened in SM Makati 3F. I love the variety of options they have especially for someone allergic to shrimp. I love fresh spring rolls but most shops only have it with shrimp. There are a lot of protein choices here! A large noodle salad only costs ₱260, way cheaper than most Vietnamese restaurants in Makati. Great value for money. Don’t be discouraged if some items aren’t on display, they still keep some of their stock inside. The place can only seat a few people. Best to get your spring rolls to go, and get a lot of it.

Surprisingly delicious. The quality was decent for the price. However, the banh mi’s meat was just a little lacking. will try other food in the menu next time.

I've passed Mā Dāo so many times already, admiring its minimalistic and classy decor and curious about the fresh Vietnamese spring rolls . I finally had the chance to taste their Pork and Prawn Spring Rolls and the Beef Lemongrass Spring Rolls, the two which were recommended by the staff. The rice wrapper was soft and chewy, and the lettuce leaves very fresh, so obviously just recently prepared . The beef was tasty though I would have preferred a more generous quantity since the cold white noodles were basically the most predominant ingredient... but! for sixty pesos, I was contented! I struggled to keep the rolls locked firmly in between my chopsticks in order to dip them into the chili vinegar sauce and the peanut one ( which was not peanut-ty enough for my taste though. Anyway, no one can argue with me that fresh lumpia is definitely much better than a burger! Enjoying my light lunch, I was comfortably ensconced on a wooden chair, facing the passageway in SM , a quiet area on the 3rd level, no loud music, no crowds . Just me and my rolls. Definitely coming back here!
